It really doesn’t look like I’m hitting him hard, but I swear it had a little bit of a kick…or I’m weak.
Things I need to buy myself soon…

Mmmm white.
This is only a little bit of what happened this morning while rigging up equipment by myself. Imagine what the other arm looked like, and my face. The invert was so thick it soaked through my gloves and almost my coveralls. Now I’m going to try and remain clean till I have to rig down when the job is over.
Anonymous asked: Going along with the last anonymous (kinda) what is your biggest fear about being engaged or married or both?
Engagement- 1) An ugly ass ring. I know that sounds really shallow of me, but seriously. I’ve seen friends, as well as others, with the ugliest rings. Maybe it’s their style…I don’t know. 2) A public engagement. I am a very shy person and I’m not a fan of public attention. I turn the color of a tomato.
Marriage- Getting divorced. Yep.
Anonymous asked: Is that an engagement ring on your finger in that last photo of you?
No, it’s a ring my parents got me when I graduated college. It’s a David Yurman ring, main stone is citrine (fancy quartz pretty much). This:

and if you’d like it, or one in a different stone, go here:

I had an interesting day yesterday. For starters, my neighbor really wanted to go shooting so I went along with him. We went about 20 miles out of town, turned down an unmarked road and off of this road about every 75-100 ft there were pull offs where you could just get your guns out and shoot towards a bluff. I got to shoot a hand gun (don’t remember what kind specifically), a 22 rifle, 12 gauge shotgun and a hunting rifle. We both had issues shooting due to the high winds and throwing clays were out of the question, but we made a good effort. It’s funny cause guns actually terrify me, I think the potential of how easily it could kill someone is what is scary (I know, I know, guns don’t kill people, people kill people). I think I want to buy a handgun now though, I had wayyyy too much fun with it. Of course after I mentioned this to my Dad he sends me this:

After shooting we ended up at Metra Park where we made it just in time for the PBR event (PBR as in Professional Bull Riding, not Pabst, although there was plenty of that there also). I’ve never been to a live bull riding event and it was crazy! Some guys did so well. I saw a lot of them get attacked by the bull though. I thought one guy seriously got castrated, another guy fell off the bull and it stomped his chest. He was lucky to be wearing safety gear but they replayed him getting stomped 4 times and it was freaky to watch over and over again. Here’s a random picture of a guy riding:

To top off my day, I was given a free set of knives at the event! I guess random people were given them since my neighbor didn’t receive one, oh well.

AMURRRICA.
I hate the fact I can read people so well. I hate the fact I can tell when someone is lying to my face yet there’s nothing I can do about it. I just sit there and listen to the bullshit. Life goes on, but I do keep mental tabs.
